For some of us the first thing we touch in the morning is that dreaded alarm clock that is commonly made from styrenic plastics. Fortunately as the day progresses our interactions with styrenic plastics typically improves. For example, styrenic plastics are used in a broad variety of kitchen appliances both as a primary material of construction as well as for component use.
